Here at the Instant Laser Clinic, we provide safe, non-invasive treatment for skin tags and skin lesions. Skin tags are essentially benign (non -cancerous) tumours that hang off the skin by a connecting stalk. Although skin tags are non-cancerous, they can often be an indicator of health problems. They are comprised of loosely arranged collagen fibers and blood vessels surrounded by a thickened or thinned-out epidermis. Skin tags tend to be the same colour as skin although they can often have a darker pigmentation, similar to a mole. Skin tags are generally quite small and grow slowly, although they should never grow to more than approximately 1.30cm.
We treat skin tags using a method called Clinical Skin Clear. This new advancement in technology is designed to comfortably remove minor benign skin lesions using combined ultrasound, radio, and high-frequency technology. The high frequency and radio frequency are attracted to the liquids on the surface of the skin which then produces heat through its various treatment probes. Clinical Skin Clear is a relatively fast treatment and patients experience minimal discomfort.
