Deep Exfoliation Treatment Frequently Asked Questions

    What Is the HydraFacial?

Also known as hydradermabrasion, the HydraFacial is a non-invasive, low-cost microdermabrasion technique that uses water instead of lasers, harsh crystals or a diamond-tipped wand. The Hydra peel facial exfoliates and cleanses the skin while delivering vital antioxidants and is a gentler option compared to other resurfacing treatments.*

    *Individual results may vary.

    How Does HydraFacial Treatment Work?

First, our highly skilled HydraFacial therapist will cleanse your skin, removing surface oil from congested pores such as make-up residue. We then move the HydraFacial wand tip across the face and neck region, gently exfoliating and removing dead skin cells.

Next, our HydraFacial clinic therapist will apply a specially formulated medical-grade peel. This targets impurities and makes them easier to extract with the wand’s vortex suction mechanism. To further hydrate, plump and replenish your skin, we then apply an antioxidant solution.*

Finally, we use moisturiser and a specialised eye gel to seal and reinforce the effects of the hydra therapy facial. These serums work to enhance the results of the treatment.*

If you opt for the Anti-Aging HydraFacial treatment at our Melbourne clinic, your skin will also be treated and infused with our special HydraFacial anti-aging serums and enzymes to further glow, nourish, improve beauty and promote collagen to your skin.*

    *Individual results may vary.

    Who Is It For?

The HydraFacial procedure is designed for people who are looking to:

›  Plump up fine lines and wrinkles*
    ›  Treat acne*
    ›  Reduce pore size
    ›  Even out skin pigmentation*
    ›  Reduce oily skin
    ›  Combat blackheads*
›  Reduce the appearance of scars*
    ›  Improve skin texture*

    *Individual results may vary.

The hydra peel facial treatment is not suitable if you:

    ›  Have Type 1 diabetes
    ›  Are pregnant
›  Have been breastfeeding for one month or less

If you plan to undergo other skin rejuvenation treatments, we recommend undergoing your hydradermabrasion treatment after the following wait times:

    Anti-wrinkle injections: After 3 days
    Facial peel: After 7 days
    Dermal fillers: After 14 days

    What Are the Side Effects?

The Hydra therapy facial has been designed to minimise disruption to your busy life. It is a gentle yet effective beauty treatment with an affordable price and no side effects.*

After your deep exfoliating HydraFacial treatment, you can walk out our Melbourne clinic doors and instantly get back to your day. What’s more, even if your face has slight residual redness from the treatment, this typically fades within 20 minutes.*

    *Individual results may vary.

    How Long Does It Last?

The effects of your HydraFacial last up to seven days.* That’s why we recommend six consecutive treatments (one every 1 to 2 months) for long-lasting skin replenishment, rejuvenation of congested pores, and removal of dead skin and other impurities.*

To help the effects of hydradermabrasion last even longer, our Instant Laser Clinic kits are ideal for monthly home care touch-ups.*

    *Individual results may vary.

$235 (Including 15 min Healite II, LED facial rejuvenation)

To make the most of the deep skin cleansing of HydraFacials, six treatments (each two weeks apart) are ideal. However, everyone is different, and the cost of treatment can differ depending on whether you want to rectify oily skin or treat acne. After examining your skin, our HydraFacial Melbourne clinic will create a treatment plan that’s right for you and provide you with an accurate cost estimate.
