Mesotherapy

for Dark Eye Circles

No one likes dark circles under their eyes, as it makes them look tired and unwell.

Dark circles under the eyes can simply be due to the skin being discoloured surrounding the eye area.

Or another cause can be because the skin is so much thinner and therefore more transparent, so it looks darker.

Although dark circles can sometimes be caused due to diet, lifestyle, or lack of the correct eye care, dark circles can also be hereditary and therefore difficult to treat.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a technique of directly inserting various nutrients directly into the skin via micro needling.

Nutrients applied topically to the skin are not able to penetrate to the skin’s dermis, but by using Mesotherapy, nutrients are delivered to this level where the skin’s connective tissue fibres are responsible for nourishing and supporting the skin.

By delivering much needed nutrients such as hyaluronic acid, peptides, vitamin C etc. the skin is able to function at its peak.

    Who is it for?

Anyone wanting to have a lighter smoother undereye area.

    How does it work?

A suitable cocktail of nutrients is chosen for the skin.

Then an anaesthetic cream is applied.

Micro needling gives tiny (and usually painless) injuries to the skin, triggering it to boost collagen whist the needles insert the cocktail into the eye area being treated.

Afterwards a soothing mask is applied so you can return to your daily activities straightaway post treatment.

    What are the side effects?

You may experience slight irritation post treatment which will subside after a few hours. Vary rarely will this treatment cause some mild temporary bruising.

How many treatments do I need?

4 sessions at two week intervals

    cost

    $250 per treatment and up

Cost starts from $250 per treatment and up, depending on the type of product and size of the area being treated.
