How Does Plasma Skin Regeneration
Work:
Plasma skin regeneration involves the use of molecular nitrogen that is stimulated by an electric field produced by radiofrequency energy to form plasma. Plasma then flushes oxygen from the treatment area, which thermally stimulates the treated area without causing any actual ‘burn’. Unlike traditional laser resurfacing or deep chemical peels, the skin remains in place and acts as a biological dressing for the treated area. This reduces the post-treatment care significantly by not creating an open wound that decreases the risk of infection and scarring.
The procedure is performed after numbing the skin with local anesthetic cream. The face is systematically pulsed with plasma energy. The procedure itself takes approximately 20 minutes.
After the procedure, your face will appear red and swollen. Depending on the energy level used, this may take one-two weeks to subside. On lower energy levels,
The recovery time can be only a few days. Following the procedure, your collagen will begin to remodel over the next year, and results will begin to appear after a few weeks.
Your skin will appear softer, and younger. Skin tone and texture improve dramatically.
