Chemical Peels

Instead of physically exfoliating the skin as with Micro-Dermabrasion, chemical peels are proven to be very effective to exfoliate your skin by using substances such as alpha-hydroxy acids (fruit acids) or Beta-Hydroxy acids (Salicylic acid). A chemical peel involves the application of a specific solution to the surface of the skin to peel away the outermost layers revealing the fresh skin beneath. Chemical peels can be superficial, medium and deep in their penetration of the skin.
