How does it Work?

The complete process only takes a few minutes. We utilize an easy-to-use sample kit supplied to us by the ‘Genelink’ Laboratory to take DNA samples.

A non-invasive cotton swab is rubbed against the inside of a client's cheek to gather a sample of DNA. The cotton swab is then placed in a special envelope included in the kit and sent back to the Dermagenetics Lab. At the laboratory, the Dermagenetics scientists use the analysis of the sample to guide the formulation of a cream tailored to the individual’s skin needs.

The ideal active ingredients are added to a base formula to produce a personalized skin care product. All tests are performed confidentially and numerical bar codes are assigned to the products. The original samples are destroyed after testing is completed. The finished skin care product is sent to our clinic (or your own place of residence) in an individual bottle with a label containing the client's name and a listing of the product ingredients.
