Wrinkle Reduction and Wrinkle Treatment

It is a quick, safe and highly effective way to markedly decrease wrinkles and is FDA-approved. These include the annoying wrinkles between the eyebrows (anger lines), on the forehead, around the eyes (squint lines), and even on the neck. A few drops are injected with a tiny needle into the muscle that creates a wrinkle, not the wrinkle itself. When the solution is injected into a muscle, it blocks the nerve impulse from reaching that area, and as a result, the muscle weakens. As the muscle weakens, the skin overlying the muscle relaxes and the wrinkles in the skin gradually soften and often disappear.

Because there is no sedative or anesthetic used, patients can return to normal activities immediately after the procedure and there are no side effects.

Dynamic wrinkles, such as crow's feet, frown lines and forehead wrinkles are due to repetitive facial expression. Weakening the muscles responsible for these facial expressions can dramatically improve these wrinkles.
